Enjoyable short stay
Went for a midweek break in May. Selected Lee House at random from Google earth and couldn’t have been more delighted with our choice. There is private parking where we left our car for the duration of our three night stay. The room was comfortable and spotlessly clean as was the whole house. Breakfast was excellent, choice was made by filling in a menu the previous evening, apart from a full English there were lighter options. Jacqui’s home made marmalade a particular highlight. There is a short walk into Lynton for shops and restaurants. A local bus or the famous cliff railway will take you down to Lynmouth there is also a very steep downhill footpath, not for the feint hearted!Thoroughly recommend for a delightful stay.

The perfect B&B experience
Such wonderful hosts who made us feel most welcome from the moment we arrived. Our stay at Lee House was the perfect place for rest, relaxation and tranquility in a spotlessly clean environment. Breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented. All in all a perfect stay. We would highly recommend Lee House to anyone.

A wonderful place to stay
Myself and my daughter really enjoyed the excellent comfort and homely feel to this lovely home. We received the warmest of welcomes from Greg and Jacqui ( with a perfect cream tea too !) and they provide the best of breakfasts ☺️. Everything about it was perfect.

Simply faultless
Simply faultless, the accommodation is spotless with a central location for easy access to Lynton, walks or Lynmouth. Greg & Jacqui are very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. There is an excellent choice for breakfast and homemade scones and jams available. An excellent stay and highly recommended.

The Lee House is well worth a visit if you are staying in Lynton. Greg and Jacqui cannot do enough for you, from home made scones and jam to knowledge of the local area.The accommodation is immaculate and centrally located allowing easy access to some of the areas beautiful scenery. I would highly recommend a stay here you will not be disappointed.

Another Fantastic Stay At Lee House
Our second stay at Lee House in the Garden room, exactly a year later. Lovely welcome by Gregg and a delicious cream tea baked by Jacqui on arrival. Our room was immaculate, and has everything you need and was very comfortable. Jacqui's breakfasts are lovely and her homemade jams and marmalades can be sampled at breakfast. We purchased six of the jams as they are delicious.Gregg is a great host suggesting places to visit. We would not have visited Arlington Court if Gregg had not said how lovely it was, and Selworthy Green was absolutely picturesque. I liked the information blackboard in the breakfast room and all the maps /leaflets in the lounge. We went to the cinema which shows up to date films and is only £5 each. We ate in The Crown and the meals are excellent, large portions and reasonably priced.Lee House is the best B&B we have ever stayed in, Gregg and Jacqui have thought of everything that you could need and are fantastic hosts. We look forward to seeing you again next year. Thank you again for a lovely week at your amazing Lee House.

Simply Outstanding
My wife and I do an awful lot of travelling and mainly always stay in hotels! We had forgotten just how fantastic guesthouses/Bed and breakfasts could be!The personal touch you get from Lee House is as good if not better than any five star hotel we’ve stayed in.The whole place is immaculately clean, absolutely spotless, if you get the Garden Room as we did, you’ll be able to sit in the afternoon sun with a glass of wine watching the bees ???? in the wild beautiful garden. The breakfasts are delicious, top quality ingredients and do ask to try some of their fantastic homemade jams, we came home with 6 jars! Real value for money too.They have their own parking at the rear of the property which is a massive bonus as parking in Lynton can be tricky.All in all, great hosts, great rooms absolutely fabulous, see you next year ????

Great guest house
Gregg and Jacqui were very good hosts. They were very welcoming and took time to talk with each of the guests.The breakfast was delicious.It was spotlessly clean throughout.We had a fantastic time at Lee house. It is in an excellent location with off street parking.The town of Lynton was charming with super restaurants.There are spectacular walks along the river and along the coast.It is the place to stay in Lynton.

A lovely weekend away in complete comfort
Lee House is one of the best B&B's we've ever stayed in. The room was beautifully appointed, clean and unfussy - a large comfortable bed and generous ensuite bathroom. But the best was Greg and Jacqui who made us so welcome. Nothing was too much trouble and breakfast was delicious. A lovely, relaxed weekend and just what we needed and had hoped for.

Super 2 night stay - Friday 29th/Sat 30th July
Lovely weekend break. Stayed in the beautiful garden room. Spotlessly.clean (as was the entire house) , fantastic bathroom, with everything we needed.Amazing cream tea on arrival, with super yummy homemade jam, which we brought some jars home too.Great hosts, who were super friendly and very knowledgeable.Really good breakfast, with lots to choose from.Would and have recommended Lee House as a quality place to stay.

Charming guesthouse
We had a lovely time staying at Lee House. We had The Hollerday room which was very clean, spacious and probably a little cooler than those on the front of the house where the sun was, as the weather was particularly warm. Little touches make a difference - complementary toiletries and biscuits with the tea and coffee????. On arrival we sat on the pretty terrace and enjoyed our Devonshire Tea. Gregg was a great host with plenty of knowledge and Jacqui served up a wonderful breakfast.Highly recommended

Excellent weekend stay
An excellent B&B, that is a fabulous place to stay in for a chilled out weekend. So well presented and lovely nice touches, like a general fridge with fresh milk and water supplied. Greg and Jacqui were very welcoming and provided an excellent service over and beyond expectations. Had a lovely breakfast in their delightful breakfast room, with excellent food and drink.

Another winderful stay
We've just got back from our second stay at Lee House. And it was just as lovely as we remembered. The room was spotless and had everything we needed; the breakfast was delicious; it's brilliantly located for walking; and you couldn't find nicer hosts than Gregg and Jacqui.It certainly won't be our last visit.

3 night stay in July '22
We have stayed in many B&B's but this is one of the better ones. It was spotless clean and very stylish on the outside. Our room was lovely and big with a garden view. The host was very friendly and helpful. The bed was so comfortable I had a lovely sleep on the first night. The breakfast was the best we have ever had. The food was of quality products and was so delicious. The choice was very good and the toast was nice which I find in most places to be dry and tasteless. The area itself was stunning and a lovely relaxing place to visit. We ventured out a little and found some lovely places to eat and drink.Thank you to Lee House. We would definitely recommend and would come back there if we visited the area again.

Fabulous Weekend Away
My husband and I stayed for two nights over the weekend of 16th - 18th July. We have been coming to Lee House for the past few years. The house is beautiful and from the moment we arrived we were made welcome by the lovely Gregg and Jacqui. Our room was immaculate and had everything we needed and was beautifully decorated as well as a super comfy bed.We had a cream tea in the garden on arrival which was much appreciated.The breakfast menu is great with just about everything you could think of to set you up for the day. We were given a bottle of champagne also to celebrate our recent wedding which was very nice.We wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Can’t wait to go back next year.Thanks so much Gregg and Jacqui for a great stay. See you next year.

Lee House review
Our stay here was so enjoyable and relaxing. Greg and Jackie were such great hosts. Our room was perfect, good breakfast options and the homemade jams and marmalades were delicious. Greg's local knowledge enabled us to discover walks that we had not previously known about.Loved our stay. Will definitely be back again ????

Wonderful 2 night stay
Wow what a fabulous B&B. Warm welcome from Gregg who showed us to our twin room which was lovely with a gorgeous view of the garden and welcomed us with a lovely cream tea. Perfect B&B, friendly & welcoming hosts
We have recently stayed at Lee House for two nights. Jacqui & Gregg are the perfect hosts and welcomed us with a delicious cream tea. We stayed in East Lyn room with a small balcony which was lovely to sit and read our books or just look at the pretty garden. The breakfasts were wonderful and nothing was too much trouble for Gregg. This was our second visit here and hopefully we will visit again.

Outstanding Bed & Breakfast
Best Bed & Breakfast we have ever stayed at. Gregg & Jacqui are wonderful friendly hosts, made us so welcome. Our room at the front with the balcony was fantastic, overlooking the lovely garden, excellent breakfasts cooked by Jacqui and served by Gregg nothing was too much trouble for them. We bought some of Jacqui's home made Marmalade & Jam home with us. We absolutely loved Lynton and Lynmouth such beautiful quiet relaxing places, wonderful walks and scenery. Amazing B&B, charming. friendly hosts, perfect location.
Lee House is an outstanding B&B, hosts Jaqcui and Gregg are so friendly and welcoming, their house is immaculate and so comfortable. We had the Garden Room which was an absolute joy to be able to open the back door and sit on the small private terrace within the beautiful colourful garden. The setting is so peaceful, and bird 'action' in the garden on the feeders is a delight! My wife and I agreed that the bed in the room was equal if not MORE comfortable than ours at home! We were welcomed with a cream tea on arrival which was very much appreciated. I found that Lynton and Lynmouth were one of the most peaceful and relaxing places I have stayed ANYWHERE and we will definitely return often! Lee House is very well located for the walks and sights of North Devon. We are already recommending Lee House to Family and Friends. Thank you Jacqui and Gregg

Perfect Staycation
What a beautiful place, hosts were very friendly, the room perfect and the garden room was just lovely to sit and relax in. Ideal location to explore the area, the breakfast was great with lots of choices with homemade jams and marmalades.Definitely will return.

A little gem
We decided to book an impromptu overnight stay in Lynton and after a bit of research decided on Lee House. We are so pleased we did.We were welcomed by Gregg on arrival and given all the information we might need and shown to our lovely room. As others have mentioned, everything was very clean and every comfort had been thought of. We had the benefit of a room with a balcony which was very welcome in the current heatwave! Our bed/bedding was particularly comfortable and we slept really well. We had a cream tea on arrival and the scones were wonderful, as was the breakfast the following day. We really can’t find a single thing to criticise. Looking forward to returning in the near future.

We had a fantastic stay at Lee House. The room was comfortable and clean, Jacqui and Gregg were great hosts and the breakfasts were delicious. We feel really relaxed during our stay and would highly recommend this B + B.

The perfect place to stay
This has to be one of the nicest places me and my wife have stayed at in our many years of travelling. Lee House is in a great location , the service from Gregg and Jacqui is first class with the breakfast worthy of a 5 star hotel. Parking is fine and the centre of Lynton just a few minutes walk away.. The property is well maintained and the rooms well decorated. I will definitely be returning to this happy friendly place.

We stayed for 2 nights at Lee House and everything was perfect from start to finish. Greg and Jacqui were great hosts. Excellent breakfast with lots of choices and beautifully presented. One of the best B&B’s we have stayed in and will definitely chose to stay here again if visiting Lynton.

Just arrived back after fantastic holiday at Lee House Lynton I recommend this accommodation to anyone who wishes to visit this beautiful area, All the areas of the accommodation were spotlessly clean towels -bed-linen were top quality and the hosts Gregg & Jackie were so caring and helpful nothing was to much trouble for them we will definitely be back !

My mum and I had a wonderful stay at Lee house. The garden and property were beautiful, the food high quality and hostsevery friendly. The room was clean and enviting with the softest towels I think I have ever used.I fully recommend a stay here. Just make sure you pre-book a restaurant for dinner!

Amazing - the Welcome, Accommodation and Breakfast
Have just spent three wonderful nights at Lee House.We arrived during a heatwave to be greeted by a delicious cream tea served by Gregg in a shady spot in the gorgeous front garden. Our room was immaculately clean, comfortable and cool. Every breakfast was exceptional. We spent time relaxing in the late afternoon/evening sat on our shaded balcony after strenuous days walking the coastline. We really can’t recommend Lee House enough!!

Our first time in this area, will definitely return. Immaculate B&B, all COVID 19 restrictions being followed. Plenty of choice on the delicious breakfast menu, friendly welcoming hosts. Spectacular valley of the rocks is a short walk away as is the funicular to Lynmouth.

Thank you Greg and JacquiWe are 100% happy with our stay at your guest house.You both are great hosts easy conversation and relaxed, our room (The Garden Room) with it's own little garden is a perfect sun trap and place to relax with a coffee after a day out or first thing in the morning surrounded by your beautiful cottage garden and the surrounding woodland with constant toing and froing of all sorts of birds and butterflies.Thank you for the extra effort r.e. the Euro semi final whereby you put a lot of effort into reorganising the breakfast room and living room into a safe place for all the guests to watch the match socially distanced and each with there own table for there own drinks etc. You could easily have left us to watch it in our rooms so a big thank you for a big effort we all had a realy special evening. Gregg was there to meet us and we had a lovely cream tea with homemade scones and jam made by his wife Jacqui.Our room was spotless the decor lovely and the bathroom lovely with all the little extras beautiful towels... A lot of thought had gone into every detail.Gregg was on hand to assist us with all our questions with places to go etc.Our breakfast was the best ever so much choice. Wonderful Stay
I had a wonderful stay at Lee house, it very much felt like a home away from home. The place itself is a lovely environment with gorgeous gardens and my room, East Lynn, was tastefully decorated - it was a pleasure waking up each day and opening the balcony doors to the overflowing flower boxes and the sight and sounds of the plentiful birds. Gregg and Jackie were fantastic hosts, the breakfast was to the standards I would expect in a good London cafe and I even had a delicious packed lunch made for me one day. Breakfast out on the terrace in the sun was particularly glorious.Gregg is very welcoming and was helpful with tailored recommendations for my adventurous spirit. I highly recommend staying at Lee house and I will definitely be booking again when I return to Lynton. Many thanks Gregg and Jackie!

This was our second visit to Lee house. A great reception from a great couple.We felt very safe with the current regulations. It was so good to see such a wonderful garden. They have really worked hard during lockdowns and won prizes from the local town. Thank you. We wish you well.

Relaxing break
Had a friendly welcome as on our first visit. Arrived in sunshine & so we were able to enjoy the delicious Cream Tea out on the beautiful terrace. Greig & Jackie go out of their way to make every facility special. The room was excellent and breakfasts too. Enjoyed everything about our stay. Hopefully back again in a few years!

We stayed at Lee House during walking the South West Coast Path.Gregg was so welcoming and the room was lovely, the sofa was particularly welcome after a long days walk.All the food was delicious.Gregg & Jacqui went the extra mile several times to ensure we were well looked after.Would definitely stay at Lee House again.

Amazing place
We spent 4 lovely nights at Lee House. Garden Room where we stayed is of decent size, with access to private patio overlooking beautiful garden. Room was excellent: large comfy bed, exceptionally clean and very quiet as it is located at the back of the property. Gregg and Jacqui are lovely people, they will look after you and your family. Every morning we were served fresh and teasty breakfast of out choice with some special addition of homemade granola, jams and marmalades. We could not choose better place to stay - every little detail was spot on. Lee House is perfectly loacted in central Lynton with shops, restaurants and cafes on its doorstep. We absolutely loved it there and would love to come back one day

Lyntons hidden gem
My recent stay at Lee House was exceptional not just for the pure natural beauty of the area but for my hosts at Lee House.The welcome was friendly and sincere and jacquiand Greg couldn’t do enough to make my stay just perfect.The breakfast, so much choice, from homemade granola, jams and marmalade to a cooked breakfast. All expertly prepared and served to high standards.I had the joy of eating an evening meal at Lee House on two occasions and the food was better than a restaurant. Three main choices and two dessert choices tochose from all beautifully cooked by jacqui and served by Greg. What a team.My room looked out over the rear garden with an array of colour to feast your eyes upon. Hollerday, was tastefully decorated, roomy, comfortable and had all that I needed for my stay.Would certainly stay again at Lee House and highly recommend it.

Beautiful accommodation and surroundings
Nothing was too much trouble for hosts Greg and Jacqui.We were made to feel very welcome especially on arrival with a specially homemade gluten free Devonshire scone. Thank you!So much choice for breakfast, a favourite was the plentiful fruit salad with yogurt and the creamy porridge.The English breakfast was very tasty too. My wife was also given a choice of Gluten free sausages and toast.We only had 1 evening meal but again, very tasty and accommodating. The chicken dish with GF pesto was exceptional.Fantastic Victorian house very tastefully decorated.Ours was the Garden Room a tranquil green with its own sweet little garden.The Bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet.Really couldn’t ask for more.We will definitely be recommending Lee House and hopefully staying again.ThanksJayne and Paul

Whitsun Breakaway at Lovely Lee House
A fabulous 2 night break at this immaculate, spacious B&B. Greg and Jackie are friendly, attentive hosts who strive to make their guests welcome and looked after. Great breakfast options with local produce andtasty homemade preserves. Theyalso do afternoon teas dailyand evening meals on set days. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with quality toiletries and refreshment tray goodies. We bought some jams and Exmoor tea home with us????????. We will certainly book to go back again in the future.

We travelled to Lee House on the first week that restaurants could open, Gregg advised us to book for dinner using the list of recommended places on their website.It did not disappoint, lovely places to eat, especially the Oak Room a short stroll from the front door.We were greeted by Jackie who showed us to our room, which was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable.The whole hotel was clean and stylish, the garden was stunning and a lovely place to sit and contemplate. Breakfast was pre-order and freshly cooked every morning.Set times for breakfast were given for covid purposes, which worked really well.Sadly the weather was not kind to us, but Gregg and Jackie helped with local knowledge of places to walk despite the rain!We will visit again and definitely take advantage of Jackie's kind offer of scones and cream on arrival.

A perfect spot for a great break.
I rate places to stay based on location, facilities, comfort, cleanliness and personality.Lee house ticks and of these boxes and then some.Gregg and Jacqui are perfect hosts, great communication ahead of the visit. Attentive and helpful when required, without being overbearing.The house is in a great location in Lynmouth with fantastic views across the valley. We were fortunate to eat breakfast in the lovely garden.The house is well appointed, our room spacious and spotless.A great choice for breakfast all expertly cooked.Do try Jacqui’s homemade preserves.Highly recommended and we will definitely return.

Very nice!
We had a very nice stay at Lee House. It’s in a great location. The accommodation was very clean and tidy. From top to bottom. Gregg fronted the house brilliantly, from booking in, serving food to giving great advice on the surrounding areas and places of interest. The room was lovely. Jacqui, who we didn’t get to meet, cooked a great breakfast! My only gripe was the bed was quite soft, but ours at home is very firm, so it’s not really a downside ( more our preference!) I would definitely recommend Lee House to anyone and we will return at some point in the future. Thank you Gregg and Jacqui.

We stayed in Lee House for 4 nights in the end of May.Greg and Jackie were warm and attentive hosts. the location was perfect and the room and the breakfast or the dinner were wonderful as well.We recommend lee House warmly.

Excellent accomodation
We recently visited this bed and breakfast for 2 nights and stayed in the Garden Room.As soon as we arrived the Proprietor was very welcoming and helpful and directed us to car park available around the rear of the property and then helped with our luggage.We received some useful information about the accommodation and the surrounding area.The room was very spacious, clean and had everything you needed.The gardens were beautiful, it was just a shame we couldn't sit outside due to the rain.The breakfast was lovely and the location was ideal.Will definitely come back again, thank you.

We had a most fantastic 2 night stay at Lee House. The welcome was very friendly and informative. Our gardenroom was clean and beautiful and opening to a private patio/garden.We loved the very tasteful breakfast with the homemade jam.We will definitely recommend Lee House to all our friends!

Very nice hotel for people to enjoy a relaxing break
When we arrived Gregg was there to meet us and made sure that we felt a warm welcome.The service was excellent throughout our stay and we were made to feel at home.Food was delicious and on the one day that we took a packed lunch whilst we went walking it made our day.The room was clean, tidy and well equipped.We would certainly highly recommend Lee House and will visit again in the future.

From our arrival to departure Jacqui and Gregg were fantastic hosts at this beautiful B&B.Our room was squeaky clean and there were lovely touch's like fresh milk for our tea/coffee tray.A scrumptious cream tea of homemade scones and Jacqui's delicious jam homemade of course.We bought several jars for my Christmas baskets.Our breakfast was fabulous and much of it locally sourced from around Lynton.Who needed lunch after that certainly not us.Do try the homemade Granola.Our dinner on our 1st night was delicious and enjoyed after a very long drive with traffic delays.All our questions about the area and where to go to eat (suggest you book ahead) were answered withpersonal knowledge of their own experience.Thanks also for the loan of blue spotty umbrella loved it!!We had a most relaxing and enjoyable break at Lee House and are planning to return.Jacqui and Darren.

Excellently run B&B in the heart of Lynton
Easily one of the best B&B’s my husband and I have stayed at. We were warmly greeted and provided with all required information before being surprised by a very welcome cream tea. Room was pristinely clean and every Corvid-19 precaution taken. Breakfasts were excellent with a good choice and I particularly enjoyed the seasonal fruit bowl. Everything had been thought of and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I would highly recommend to anyone.

Could have stayed longer
Great hosts (nothing is too much trouble), quality en suite room, lovely decor, extremely comfortable bed, very clean and all you need for a very comfortable stay.We chose a front facing balcony room, East Lynn,and the views over the village and beyond were delightful.The home cooked food was exceptional.A plentiful choice on the breakfast menu. Both breakfast and the evening meals on offer, most evenings, were delicious.We had some apprehension about going away on holiday with the current COVID situation.However we needn’t have been concerned as all the appropriate measures in place made it feel very safe.Lynton & Lynmouth are lovely areas and a perfect base to explore the delights of North Devon.The Cliff railway is a short walk from Lee House and the picturesque Valley of the Rocks is also nearby.

Excellent stay in a lovely location with great hosts. Very close to restaurants in Lynton and to the funicular railway.
We stayed with Gregg and his wife over the weekend on a three night stay. We were welcomed with an introduction about how the new Covid system would work and were immediately put at ease. We were shown to our room, spacious very clean and lovely bathroom.Breakfast had to be pre-ordered on a breakfast form and a time slot agreed. On arrival for breakfast we were shown to our table located on our own for social distancing which worked out really well.The food was excellent and portions plentiful and Gregg could not have been more pleasant or helpful.We were there for walking and Gregg supplied us with a map which really helped. We completed two lovely walks along the coastal path in both directions from Lynmouth, 10.5 miles first day and 14.5 miles on day 2. It was lovely to be able to come back and soak in a nice hot bath. The only thing that could have been better for us would have been to have one of the lovely rooms at the front with balconies but obviously they are much in demand! Lovely stay with lovely hosts, recommend this highly. Thank you.

A beautiful guest house with excellent attention to detail. Jacqui and Gregg are so hospitable, the rooms are beautifully decorated and clean and changes to accommodate the guidance for COVID-19 make you feel very comfortable.The food is fresh and beautiful - one of the best selections for breakfast we have had.Great location.

Faultless!
We stayed for three nights in the gorgeous Garden Room (With it's own private patio) on a bed and breakfast basis. The service provided by Greg & Jacqui was superb and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was delicious with everything you could wish for and cooked to perfection. A packed lunch could also be ordered which was very convenient when going out walking for the day. We would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful establishment to anyone and hope to visit again ourselves.

Lovely stay at Lee house
We had a really nice stay at Lee house in the Garden room. Once stays could open during Covid-19 we were very comfortable with the cleanliness and procedures that had been put in place by Lee House.The breakfast was 10/10, amazing and we like that we could choose so many different things. We would come back for the breakfast alone!It was also nice to get some information about the area beforehand and confirm to us that what we had initially planned were the better things to do!The recommendation of the tapas in The Oak Room was lovely, great food and so close to the guest house.Thank you so much, we had a lovely stay.

To arrive to a warm welcome to a lovely room all pre pared the was so clean and fresh. Lovely food and really delicious evening meal. Highly recommended a stay a Lee house. Wonderful stay
We weren't sure what to expect of our first post-Covid stay at a B&B, but this felt as normal as you can hope for under the current circumstances. A great deal of thought had been put into taking non-intrusive steps to ensure everyone's safety, and these did not detract from the experience in the slightest.Everything was very well organised, everywhere was spotlessly clean and the breakfasts were lovely. We will definitely return, and we wish you all the best as you pick up your business again.

Wonderful Weekend.
We had an amazing 4-night stay. Gregg & Jacqui We’re wonderful hosts. They were conscientious about COVID-19 safety measures. The breakfast was delicious and they gave great recommendations for places to eat for lunch/dinner and things to do in Lynton and the surrounding areas.The house was beautifully decorated and in a great location close to shops, restaurants, and nature walks.

LOVELY AND PEACEFUL SETTING
Wonderful 2 nights spent here. Very clean and tidy. Greg was very helpful and the complimentary cream tea was really good. Tasty and unhurried breakfast was another big plus. Our little balcony was great for listening to the birds and relaxing after a long long walk! Highly recommended

Great nature and stargazing!
We couldn’t have chosen a better place in Lynton. Lee & Jacqui were wonderful hosts and nothing was too much trouble. From providing books and maps to help you decide what to do to allowing us to have one of their delicious breakfasts on their sunny terrace. Lynton was just what we needed after 4 months of lockdown to recharge our batteries! The icing on the cake was seeing the Milky Way from the garden on our last night there, it was truly special! We will definitely be back!

Little Gem
Just got home from spending 3 nights at Lee House. This was our second visit and it was just as wonderful as the last time. Jacqui and Gregg are fabulous hosts and nothing is too much trouble. We stayed during lockdown and they had many procedures in place to keep us safe. Highly recommend and we will be back. ????

The best stay ever
I’ve been visiting many places around the world. Few places were so enjoyable as Lee House was. Everything was perfect: delicious food, Soft towels, beautiful linen, cozy and comfortable room, friendly staff. My husband and I loved Lee House. We do recommend it!

Everything about Lee house was perfect. Location was great, immaculately spotless, the food was first class and the owners were so accommodating. Infact they made the stay so much more pleasurable. There’s so much to do locally and everything is within walking distance ! All in all a fantastic experience and we will defiantly be returning in the near future ????

Homely stay
We needed one night after wanting to extend our stay in Lynton, this place was available with only one room luckily. On arrival the garden was stunning with in land views. Gregg was very welcoming and showed us to our room which was super clean and everything was sanitised. They certainly are taking the precautions neccessary whilst Covid-19 is about, but doesn’t effect your stay. Breakfast was piping hot, on time and very yummy with lots of variety. Highly recommend the granola and fruit to start with the pancakes!!!We stayed in the hollerday room with a sweet view of the garden in the back.

Wonderful
We had a lovely stay at Lee House. Very convenient location and our room was nice and spacious and very clean.Breakfast was fantastic, my friends all had full English breakfasts which were cooked to perfection and I had salmon and scrambled egg which was delicious. I would definitely stay at Lee House again.

Lovely welcoming place
We received a warm welcome, and the owners did all they could to make our short visit special by going out of their way to meet dietary requirements, providing cake on our return from day out, etc. Despite the very poor weather, our visit will therefore remain a memorable one, and we look forward to returning before long.

A beautiful gem in Devon
We had nothing short of a delightful experience with Jacqui and Gregg.On the first night, we arrived quite late but our hosts were so kind to prepare sandwiches for our arrival.When we finally made it, we were delighted to find a welcoming bed and breakfast, situated on a charming street, a few minutes walking distance from the breathtaking coast.Despite the late hour, Gregg greeted us and made sure we felt immediately at home.As for the room, it was elegant, inviting and gave us a great view of the surrounding town.The sun rising over the nearby hills was a fantastic sight to wake up to.One of the nicer touches was the breakfast, which was made extra special by the home-made jams on offer - we tried at least 6 of the varieties (Jacqui makes great jams!).We were never short on activities, because our hosts provided us with itineraries and brochures which allowed us to experience this beautiful corner of England.We had a truly wonderful time staying at Lee House, we really can't find any fault in the overall experience, which was made extra special by our truly hospitable hosts.Definitely highly recommended!

We thorough-LEE enjoyed our stay at LEE HOUSE.Convenient-LEE located on the mainstreet with charming-LEE tended gardens, it is pleasant-LEE situated for a walking holiday. The hosts Gregg and Jacquie were very friend-LEE and made us warm-LEE welcome by serving us with cake and tea on our arrival which was great-LEE appreciated and a very nice thoughtafter a long journey.The breakfasts were great with a very good choice which amp-LEE set us up for the day ahead exploring the beautiful area.We would absolute-LEE recommend LEE HOUSE!

What a great find Lee House was for us. We spent 2 relaxing nights here. Great location. The attention to detail was on point and nothing was too much trouble for Jacqui and Gregg. Beautiful rooms and wonderful breakfast. We will definitely be back when we are next I’m the area.

We arrived early from Bude and received a very warm welcome. And we were given welcome refreshments in the sunny front garden! Nice couple running the B&B. Nice room with shower over the bath and delicious Englsh Breakfast on the two days we stayed. Free parking at the back, or for 2 hours during controlled hours on the street. Would recommend.

Home from Home
It was a great pleasure to stay at Lee House once again and meet new owners Gregg and Jacqui. They made us very welcome and were very friendly hosts. Our room was very comfortable with a lovely view across the valley. Breakfast was excellent, particularly for my wife who is coeliac which was no problem. We also enjoyed a special cheese platter for supper on one evening, which was superb. Lee House was always good, now it is excellent. We are looking forward to returning soon.

We had a wonderful 4 day stay at Lee House. Our hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We especially appreciated the trays of tea when we arrived and after a very wet and cold day along with an amazing ginger cake warm from the oven. We only had one night here but will be back. The Garden Room was v clean with a lovely seating area outside. Breakfast was very comprehensive using good quality products. Hosts we friendly. Shame we only had one night!

Warm friendly b and b
Walk in customers welcomed warmly , room excellent, good selection of toiletries, tea tray with good choice of drink options,only downside milk in fridge downstairs not comfortable to fetch in nightwear at 7am. Breakfast very good - like ordering night before avoids waste. Off road car parking a definate bonus.

A two night stay.
We spent two nights here. The guest house is lovely, our room was very pretty with a balcony we could sit on. Jacqui & Gregg were the perfect hosts & made us very welcome. The breakfasts were wonderful with a large selection to choose from. We would recommend staying here.

Great quality
I needed to stay in the area after a holiday at Lee Abbey and Lee House was just right for me. Very nice people, beautiful clean rooms and good breakfast. I noticed some of the rooms had balconies which looked very attractive. I would go back again.

A gem of a B & B
Gregg and Jackie made us so welcome from the moment we arrived. We had a lovely few days and could not have been more comfortable.Our room was the garden room, with its own little courtyard. This was a great bonus when the sun shone. Breakfast was delightful and the whole place was absolutely spotless.I recommend it whole-heartedly.

We had a very pleasant stay, the welcome was warm and friendly. The complimentary Cream tea on arrival was unexpected, but very much appreciated. The room and other parts of the house were spotlessly clean and very tastefully decorated and well equipped. The choice of breakfast was very extensive and quality of food and service was superb. The location is great for exploring the local area where there is plenty to see and do either by foot or a short drive away. We would highly recommend without hesitation. It would be our first choice if we visit the area again.

A Lovely Stay
We received a very warm welcome from owners Jacqui and Gregg, and the tea and scones on arrival was a lovely start to our stay. The room was fresh and clean and we had a comfortable nights sleep. The sun in the morning gave me the opportunity to finish reading my book on the small balcony before breakfast which was the best we have had at a B&B or hotel for a while, good choice of fresh fruit and a full cooked breakfast. Situated in a great position with off road parking if needed Lee House is everything you want from a B&B.

Fantastic Weekend - Will Definitely Be Returning
We have just returned from an amazing 5 days stay in Lee House. Gregg and Jacqui are perfect hosts. We were very warmly welcomed and after helping with our luggage we were invited to have a scrummy cream tea in the very pleasant lounge with Jacqui and Gregg popping in for a chat and offering advice on where to go and what to do during our time there. We had only booked the previous day. Gregg and Jacqui are perfect hosts attending to every detail. Our room was lovely with fresh flowers and even had a sofa! Very comfortable. Breakfast was superb, so much choice - top quality, beautifully presented and individually cooked to perfection. Some special dietary needs can be catered for.

Lovely Weekend
Decided to spend the Easter bank holiday weekend in Exmoor, having not visited the national park before. Just to say a quick thank you to Jacqui and Gregg who made sure our visit was top notch. Tea and scones on arrival after our 6 hour drive, as well as surprise Easter eggs at Sunday breakfast were little extras that added to the visit :) The bacon pancakes were also great (first ones to try them apparently).

Very Hospitable
My son and I enjoyed a lovely week in Lynton, and enjoyed our stay at Lee House. Gregg and Jacqui were gracious and most accommodating. I enjoyed the beautiful Garden Room, while my son enjoyed the room with a balcony. The rooms are spotless and very comfortable, so much so we missed breakfast most mornings. My son enjoyed his breakfast on our last day, and again, they were only too happy to accommodate our travel schedule. This is the third property I've visited in Lynton, and it's been the best with its central location, inter alia. I highly recommend it! Thank you, Gregg and Jacqui. We hope to see you again soon.

Excellent B&B
Such a lovely B&B - Gregg and Jacqui were amazing- friendly and welcoming, nothing to much trouble. We stayed three nights in a room which overlooked the garden.It was bright and nicely decorated. The breakfast was 1st class.A great location for all the tourists hotspots.We would certainly recommend as we both enjoyed our stay

The extra touches given such as fresh milk fresh flowers and a little easter egg were a nice thought. Breakfast had an extensive selection of fruit, including home made cereal and jams. The cooked breakfast was also of high quality. Gregg and Jacqui were very attentive and professional in all aspects of our stay excellent standards and would highly recommend to anyone this establishment

We just had a fantastic stay at Lee House, beautiful rooms, fabulous food, beautiful surroundings, and the owners couldn't be more attentive. Would definitely stay again.

Great Weekend
We have just returned from a lovely weekend away at Lee House. The hosts Jacqui and Gregg were very welcoming and gave us some local tips and recommendations which helped plan our weekend.The room was spacious, and offered beautiful views of the local area. The breakfasts were fantastic and cooked to order. The menu catered for my partner who is a vegan and the homemade marmalades were delicious!The location is peaceful and perfect for breathtaking walks around the countryside, we even hired some bikes and enjoyed exploring the area. There is a selection of pubs and restaurants a short walk from the B&B which rounded off our days perfectly.The guest sitting room at the front of the house allowed us to relax. The board games and books are a great addition. We can't wait to return to Lee House later this year, thank you for a fantastic stay!

The First Returner...
Having stayed at Lee House under its previous owners, I was both excited and a little nervous to see if the same high levels of service were going to be present - and I needn't have worried, as they were and in abundance! I think having had great people to work from, Gregg and Jacqui have built on this - in still keeping the same levels of charm and good service, they have also added their own mark without it seeming too obvious.From the moment I arrived and was greeted on first name terms with a pot of tea and cake, it was as though I had known them all my life. As we had already spoken either through social media or on the telephone, previous conversations were recalled as I was shown to my room.The room that I was in I had stayed in before, and this remained the same although other areas in the building including other rooms had been given a little makeover. It was nice to see a bottle of Radox on the bath in the ensuite!Their breakfast menu remained unchanged in some areas, although they did make more mention of vegan/ vegetarian options from what I could remember last time - the main difference being that they just asked you the evening before to make your choice of main course.They are both very attentive hosts, and although you know they are there they don't come over as being too over bearing - something I feel which is being lost in today's society.All in all I was very happy with my stay, and they were also keen to hear from me as to how things have stayed the same or changed - they are open to any comments, and will try their utmost to make your stay as welcome and as relaxing as possible.PS - be careful if you blow a candle out in your room...

We stayed two nights at Lee House which is now under new ownership.On arrival we were shown to our rooms and then greeted with tea and homemade cake which was gratefully received after a long journey. Lee House is spotlessly clean and the hosts Jacqui and Gregg could not do enough for us. The breakfast is made to order and they cater for everyone...it set us up for a full day of exploring. Stunning location and we cannot wait to return to this total gem of a place. You will not be disappointed when you visit.

First Class
So it appears we were the first guests of the new owners Greg and Joanna, and the the faint whiff of paint in the hall was the last remnant of the obvious hard work they've put into renovating this B&B.From a location point of view, the accommodation is perfect. Turn left out of the front gate and it's a short walk to the top TA rated restaurants in Lynton, the cinema, eclectic shops and the cliff railway. Turning right takes you past the convent and candle factory to the spectacular valley of the rocks which leads neatly onto the coastal path which can be taken down to Lynmouth.We selected the twin room which was light and airy, sported a full sofa, was spotlessly clean(which was a theme throughout the property) and well stocked with all the quality consumables you could possibly need. I had a really good nights sleep helped by a couple of Tributes in the Crown, and the tv and wifi worked a treat.The selection at breakfast would leave no-one wanting including home made jams and marmalade(lime in particular thank you) and the english breakfast was immaculate. Greg was a very attentive host and his wife joined us after breakfast was complete for a chat and their enthusiasm and attention to detail will stand them and their guests in good stead.Many thanks and best wishes for the coming season. My Review of Lee House
We were welcomed at the immaculately clean Lee House with complimentary homebaked cakes and a cup of tea.The hosts could not have done more for us and we were very comfortable in our room with a wonderful view.Lee House is in a perfect location to enjoy the stunning scenery and coast line of north Devon.The breakfast selection was excellent.Highly recommended!
